  • The Fault in Our Stars is really emotional and challenging to watch in a good way. The movie tells a heartbreaking story of love between two cancer patients who want nothing more than to be normal teens. I tear up every time that I watch the film because Hazel and Gus have such strong chemistry which makes the ending more difficult.

  • A pretty faithful rendition of the novel. The Fault in Our Stars is an absolutely devastating, poignant, and bittersweet story of love, loss, and coming of age during the most difficult circumstances. The book and novel made me sob as a teenager and although it has been a while since a rewatch or reread, I'm sure I'd sob again today too.

  • I actually might like this movie better than the book and I am a big John Green fan. Really touching and by the end I am a sobbing mess. Went with my mom to see this in theaters when it first came out. We both cried a lot. "It would be an honor to have my heart broken by you."
