  • Dick Cheney the man that you are... That isn't a good thing. Christian Bale is so good in this and I ire the way he disappears into the role. Highlights some of the horrendous stuff Cheney did over the years and his complicity in the war that plagued America for two decades.

  • I think that it is a great lead performance, and Dick Cheney is an interesting figure to discover, but I'm not sure the whole B plot with Jesse Plemmons character really works on the whole, kind of distedly breaking up the story.

Synopsis

Vice transforms Christian Bale into Dick Cheney, the Vice President of the United States during the presidency of George W. Bush, in Adam McKay's biographical comedy-drama. Cheney, no stranger to the world of politics, has spent his time in various White House adjacent roles, but now that he's stepped into the role of V.P., he intends to reshape the world the way he sees fit.
