WHERE TO WATCH

Reviews(2)

  • Westworld is a mind-bending rollercoaster that grabs you and doesn’t let go. Picture a high-tech theme park where robots, or "hosts," are as human-like as they come, and things get wild fast. The show dives deep into questions about what it means to be alive, mixing thrilling twists with some major philosophical ponderings. The visuals are stunning, and the performances, especially from Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton, are top-notch. It’s not always a straightforward ride—expect some brainy detours—but if you’re into brilliant sci-fi that makes you think and keeps you guessing, Westworld is a must-watch.

  • Westworld is smart and it has a lot to say, but it has the fatal flaw of giving the viewer no solid ground to stand on. EVERYTHING you know is up for debate and could be flipped at any time, and while that leads to some cool moments, it also gradually saps the show of any stakes or sense of place. Where actually are we, what's actually happening, what does even one character truly, fully want?
