Teen Mom fans know that Chelsea's initial endeavor into motherhood happened with her ex Adam Lind, who is rarely in the picture. The single mother struggled until she met the man of her dreams. The star met her husband Cole DeBoer in 2014 and the two married in 2016.
Chelsea recently spoke to she knew it was time to leave, telling fans, “it was a buildup almost — this feeling in my gut, or my heart, I guess.” Fans were naturally upset that she did not feel she was supposed to be on the show anymore. Luckily the rest of the MTV cast ed her decision to put her family first. Many of the other teen moms understood that there comes a time where you just have to say goodbye to filming and move on to the next chapter.
The main reason for leaving was to protect her eldest daughter, Aubree, since she was getting older and the issues with her father were still going strong. The reality star revealed that as her daughter aged, she started to have her own opinions of her father, and her mother felt she should have her privacy. Chelsea revealed she was worried that her daughter wouldn’t want to tell her things because of the cameras.
The mother of three spent ten years of her life on the show. Between a toxic relationship, three hair colors, and beauty school, fans ed her through it all. While she is greatly missed, Teen Mom fans understand her worries and know she will do just fine in her other business ventures. Fans one day hope to see her back on the show, at least for an update.
