The women were both shocked and frustrated as her practice shot would have taken seconds. Zoe took Grant to the roof of the building and enjoyed extensive time alone with the lead.

Alli Jo stormed in, requesting her turn, and Zoe backed off. The concession only lasted moments as Zoe stood and lingered, only to ask for Grant again.

The situation became heated quickly. When Zoe finally returned after monopolizing Grant’s time, the women were seething. Alli Jo confronted Zoe, but Zoe stood by her actions. Zoe’s reputation was damaged as most of the women agreed she overstepped boundaries. Zoe felt she was well within her rights. She cited the competitive nature of the game as her reasoning. Her shameless actions are what would be expected of a producer plant.

Zoe lamented the other women were mean and taking “jabs.” Grant unsurprisingly takes her side and comments, “If being you offends other people, you shouldn’t stop.” The conversation ends with a kiss. She played the game perfectly. She villainized the other women while presenting as a martyr. Zoe secured time with Grant and maintained his attention. These actions will only strengthen her chances with the lead so long as Grant doesn’t catch on.

When the women got to Madrid, they were challenged to ride “Batalla del toro,” or a mechanical bull. Most were flung off in seconds but by hanging onto the horns, Alexe Godin outlasted others in the group date and survived for 47 seconds. When Zoe went up, she copied Alexe's technique. Although it was unclear who hung on longer, Zoe was awarded the trophy and a sunset date with Grant.

Zoe has been underhanded and strategic in her approach to the group dates. By mimicking another competitor, she secured even more time with Grant. This date seemed almost preplanned as her victory wasn’t irrefutable. Chances are, she will remain in the competition until the final few.

While The Bachelor encourages drama, Zoe has been a particularly controversial contestant. Despite not having the most chemistry with Grant, she has maintained a lot of his attention. Her front-running status may mean that her role as a producer plant has been highly successful. Zoe won’t be going anywhere for a while.
