The Challenge has officially been renewed for season 41, and here's everything we know. The Challenge is on of the longest running reality shows, having first aired on MTV in 1998, although back then it was known as Road Rules: All Stars. The series was an instant hit and was renamed Real World/Road Rules Challenge for season 2 before eventually being renamed The Challenge. While the show used to pull cast exclusively from The Real World, Road Rules, and eventually, Are You The One, today, the cast is filled with known reality stars from around the globe.

The Challenge has aired 40 seasons to date, with season 41 coming in 2025. The competition series has also had various spin-offs, including The Challenge USA and The Challenge: All Stars. MTV announced The Challenge season 41 will definitely be happening, but what else do we know?

Who Will Be Competing On The New Season?

So far, only three cast are confirmed for CT also competed on The Traitors season 2, which he won with fellow The Challenge alum Trishelle Cannatella. Leroy is slightly newer to The Challenge, with season 41 being his 14th season.

Although not official, many other reality TV vets have been rumored to film the reality TV juggernaut's 41st season.

Cara Maria Sorbello, Aviv Melmed, Johnny Bananas, and Turbo Çamkıran are a few of the returnees believed to have competed on the new season. As for new players, America Lopez and Blue Kim from Big Brother season 25 may be on the show, as well Izzy Fairthorne from Netflix's Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match and Gabriel Wai, a former WWE wrestler. Although Wes Bergmann was thought to have filmed the season, that rumor was debunked. Ultimately, fans will need to be patient for an official cast announcement.

Although there was no mention of a host in the official renewal announcement, audiences can expect TJ Lavin to return as host. TJ has been at the forefront of the series since season 11, and there's no reason to believe he'll be giving up his role any time soon. TJ makes The Challenge what it is, so hopefully he'll be with the show for a long time.

Every season of The Challenge has a theme, such as rivals, exes, free agents, and more. Unfortunately, fans will likely have to wait until the season airs to officially find out the season 41 theme. That being said, rumors have circulated for a few months regarding what audiences can expect from this season's format.

Very likely, The Challenge season 41's theme will involve rookie players teaming up with veterans, as The Challenge has done on seasons like "Fresh Meat" and "War Of The Worlds." Allegedly, the season is made up of eight rookie men, eight rookie women, and eight each of veteran men and women. After a season with no rookies, this will be a good chance for the show to introduce a lot of new faces all at once. Regardless of the theme, The Challenge season 41 is sure to be entertaining and dramatic.

The Challenge season 41 will air during the summer, 2025 on MTV.
