Just when you thought the Tori Deal and Jordan Wisely breakup saga was over, The Challenge competitor Fessy Shafat when the two went on a trip together, and that Jordan only found out after the fact. Carroll also claimed that Tori demanded five thousand dollars in exchange for her leaving their shared home, then reneged on an agreement to keep the details surrounding their split to themselves. But now Tori has fired back at Jemmye by sharing a screenshot of a text thread, seemingly between herself and Jordan, that completely contradicts Jemmye's money and cheating allegations.
Tori and Jordan first met on the set of The Challenge XXX: Dirty 30, Tori's first season on the show. Despite her entering the game with then-boyfriend Derrick Henry, she became close with Jordan soon after Henry's early exit. The new pair ended the season as a romantic item for all intents and purposes. They also entered their names into the discussion of best The Challenge power couples when Jordan won and Tori finished in third place, an impressive showing for a rookie competitor. Their relationship took a more serious turn in August, 2019, again on the set of The Challenge, when Jordan proposed to her after winning an elimination round on The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2. Just over one year later, however, their engagement came to an end in a much-publicized split amidst rumors of infidelity.
Fast-forward another year to the present day and their breakup is still garnering plenty of attention, but Tori, with an assist from Jordan himself, may have just put an end to the cheating rumors once and for all. Prompted by Jemmye's Patreon video and the online response it provoked, Tori took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a text thread with "J"—presumably Jordan—in which she asks him to help her "set the story straight," as seen in an image shared by Reddit u/minimuffinheart. "J" responded by saying "I absolutely understand," before adding, "I explicitly told Jem...that you didn't cheat." He also added credibility to Tori's version of events regarding the money issue. Whereas Jemmye claimed that Tori "asked Jordan for 5k to move out," per another Reddit post by u/fibrofighter512 that recaps Jemmye's video, in Tori's text thread "J" adds, "I agree with the amount...you're referring to."
Assuming that her posted proof is indeed a factual screenshot of a conversation between her and Jordan, it appears that Tori has due cause to be upset. She's not the only one, however. Jordan solidified Tori's version of their breakup by sharing a video addressing Jemmye's new cheating rumors. In his video, Jordan says that he "confided in Jemmye and she definitely, definitely spun a bunch of stuff." Jordan then got specific, first stating that "I didn't pay Tori to leave" before explaining that the two mutually agreed that he would pay her $3,000 in exchange for keeping Tori's furniture that she didn't want to have to move. He then definitively doused Jemmye's version of events by stating that "I've never said Tori cheated...she didn't cheat."
All of the evidence is piling up in Tori's favor. With Jordan taking her side and expressing frustration with Jemmye betraying his trust, it appears that Carroll indeed exaggerated some details in an attempt to provide juicy gossip to her Patreon subscribers. With a third "Battle of the Exes" season rumored to be under consideration, perhaps their collaboration in debunking the cheating rumors could lead to Jordan and Tori appearing on The Challenge together again—this time as both exes and teammates.
The Challenge airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
