No LEGO game has perhaps been as anticipated as Star Wars title, there's even more on the way for fans to enjoy in the form of DLC. With plenty of packs on offer over the coming months, each one is based around a very specific theme or project from outside of the main run of movies.
Amongst these packs are characters that fans will surely love to get their hands on. Audiences have watched them on screen, read them on the page, or even enjoyed the comic book narratives of these individuals, and the characters are now going to add some colorful depth to an already full roster of LEGO Minifigures.
Honorable Mention: The Bad Batch
It's hard to separate out this incredible unit of Clones known as The Bad Batch. While Unit 99 (as they are officially known), have their own titular animated series, the group was also a part of The Clone Wars saga. They are now operating as mercenaries, helping Omega come to with her new place in the galaxy.
Some of the best Bad Batch characters and their former friend turned nemesis, Crosshair, are all part of the new DLC pack. This will be released on May 4th and will see a huge boost to the LEGO roster. Each member of the unit boasts their own unique skill which makes them so perfect as a team. Their armor designs alone will be great to see in the game.
Jyn Erso
Jyn Erso was the lead of Rogue One and has also been the subject of books like Rebel Rising, animated series like Forces Of Destiny, and a range of comic books. She heroically gave her life retrieving the plans for the Death Star and thus made a difference in the larger Skywalker Saga.
The game would, therefore, feel incomplete without this strong Rogue One fighter, who has so much to offer gamers. Jyn has ultimately not been seen enough on-screen, which is why it's so exciting to see her brought into the title in the Rogue One DLC which has now been released.
Din Djarin
Din Djarin is one of the most beloved new characters from the Star Wars series. The Mandalorian has demonstrated what the franchise could really look like in a serialized format on Disney+ and audiences have completely fallen head over heels for the dynamic between Mando and Grogu.
That's why it's thrilling to see the pair make their debut in a video game. Grogu works as a companion to Mando in this instance, with the two traveling around alongside one another. The characters were brought to the game as part of the Mandalorian Season 1 pack, which is now available.
Ahsoka Tano
From her days in The Clone Wars to her appearances in She's perhaps the perfect Jedi, even though she no longer identifies as such.
Her titular novel and the comics give even more layers to the character, who will be gaining her own Disney+ show as well. With so much happening for Ahsoka and so many viewers who grew up with the hero, her appearance in the Mandalorian Season 2 pack releasing on May 4th, is much anticipated.
Bo-Katan Kryze
Whether she's in The Mandalorian, The Clone Wars, or any other aspect of the Star Wars saga, the Mandalorian (known as Bo-Katan) is a fierce warrior that has drawn a lot of attention. She's served the Night Watch and eventually helped the Republic and later the Rebels.
She's one of the most notable Mandalorians in the history of the series and her armor is spectacular. Fans will be very excited to add her skills to their ranks, especially because those hailing from Mandalore are usually pretty fun to play as. She's part of The Mandalorian Season 2 pack releasing on May 4th.
Qi'ra
Qi'Ra is certainly a complex character. Her early relationship with Han Solo brought her into the criminal underworld and she would eventually betray him to make her own mark. She is now a Crime Lord unto herself and her story is seemingly not over quite yet.
Qi'Ra has had some play in the comics and novels like Last Shot but she's never been featured in a video game. Her debut here is sure to please those who are part of her cult following. Due to her appearance in Solo, she is a part of that DLC pack which has already been released.
K-2SO
Another member of the Rogue One crew, the hilarious droid, known as K-2SO, has become instantly iconic because of his razor-sharp wit and sarcastic temperament. The droid demonstrated that he was a hero in the end, however, even if his origins can be found with the Empire.
Droids make up a great deal of The Skywalker Saga roster, but it's great to see K-2SO alongside greats like R2-D2 and BB-8. He definitely fits amongst that group and the type of dialogue he brings to the table is sure to have gamers creasing. He was released in the Rogue One DLC which is out now.
Cassian Andor
What's interesting about Cassian Andor is that he's the only member of the Rogue One project who's getting their own spin-off. Andor the series will be heading to Disney+ soon and fans are surely going to want to create their own adventures in the game, ahead of its release.
Although he serves the Rebels, Cassian is a bit rough around the edges. He's had to make the tough decisions and that's left some blood on his hands. Star Wars is known for creating characters with all sorts of gray and so Andor is a great addition to the roster, who's now available via the Rogue One pack.
Moff Gideon
Moff Gideon is a tremendous villain and largely served his purpose in regards to The Mandalorian narrative. He's become quite the favorite in regards to antagonists, perhaps because of the performance itself or the outrageous outfit the Empire Moff wears.
Gideon has even been known to use the Darksaber, a very powerful weapon that holds the key to controlling Mandalore itself. With all of this power at the player's fingertips, plenty will be controlling Gideon in-game when purchasing the Season 2 DLC on May 4th.
Fennec Shand
Fennec Shand has become a powerhouse of the Star Wars universe. Her first appearance in The Mandalorian Season 1 left fans wanting more, so her return in The Bad Batch, season 2 of the series, and The Book Of Boba Fett catapulted her into stardom.
The Bounty Hunter has a take-no-prisoners attitude and is a perfect partner for the son of Jango Fett. For those wanting to live out those small screen adventures on Tatooine, they will be able to with the exciting launch of the Mandalorian Season 2 DLC on May the 4th be with you.
