The White Lotus season 3 cast includes six newcomers, and one confirmed returning character from season 1. The acclaimed HBO series began production in Thailand in February 2024, with a Max release in February 2025. Specific filming locations include Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Phuket, which are all major tourist locations in Thailand. Departing from its season 1 location in Hawaii and season 2 location in Sicily, Italy, The White Lotus season 3 is poised to be the celebrated series' biggest season yet.

As an anthology series, each season of The White Lotus features a primarily new cast with a few, or even just one, returning cast . After the unexpected fate of Jennifer Coolidge's iconic Tanya McQuoid character at the end of season 2, there was uncertainty surrounding whether the fan-favorite character would return for season 3 in Thailand. Leslie Bibb As Kate

Actor: Leslie Bibb, 49, is an American actress and model known best for her role as Christine Everhart in Iron Man and Iron Man 2. Bibb was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, raised in Lovingston in Nelson County, Virginia, and got her big break as a model during a nationwide competition held by The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1990 at the age of 16. Bibb made her television debut in 1996, appearing in episodes of Pacific Blue and Home Improvement. The actress has been married to Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell since 2007.

Character: Leslie Bibb plays Kate, one of three childhood friends from school who are now in their 40s and vacationing together to catch up on life. Of the three friends, Kate has married a successful businessperson and lives in Texas, where she feels it is hard for anyone to like her for just who she is. However, she is unable to see that one of her other friends is going through depression because she feels she can't match up with the other two.

Dom Hetrakul As Pornchai

Birthdate: April 9, 1976

Actor: Dom Hetrakul, 47, is a well-known Thai actor who is most famous for his role in the 2008 action thriller Bangkok Dangerous starring Nicolas Cage. Hetrakul has made appearances in many Thai television series and films and has also been cast in several Hollywood projects related to martial arts. The White Lotus season 3 will mark the actor's first appearance on an HBO television series.

Character: Dom Hetrakul stars as Pornchai. He is a wellness expert at the White Lotus and welcomes the returning Belinda to their resort so she can learn from how they do things to take back to make her White Lotus even better. However, when he learns that Belinda might be in danger, he has to decide whether he will do something to help her or protect the resort.

Parker Posey As Victoria Ratliff

Actor: Parker Posey, 55, is an experienced actress who became a household name during the 1990s from her work in several notable independent productions. Some of her best early projects include Party Girl (1995), Kicking and Screaming (1995), The Daytrippers (1996), and Clockwatchers (1997). Character: Parker Posey plays Victoria, a North Carolina at Chapel Hills graduate who visits the White Lotus with her husband and three kids. She is clearly going through some issues, as she is either always drinking or she is self-medicating with pills. While she often falls asleep, even at dinner, and seems trashy, she also seems to adore her family and has no idea that something from her husband's past is about to come back to destroy their perfect lives.

Tayme Thapthimthong As Gaitok

Actor: Maethi "Tayme" Thapthimthong is a Thai actor who has appeared in several Thai and Hollywood films and television series. He has played police officers in several of his most notable projects. There is not much public information available about the new White Lotus season 3 actor as of the time of writing, but it appears that he will be making his American television debut on the acclaimed HBO series.

Character: Tayme Thapthimthong is the bodyguard of the White Lotus owner. He also has a crush on one of the wellness experts. His job is to ensure that nothing bad happens at the resort, something that the opening scene of the premiere shows he failed to do.

Jason Isaacs As Timothy Ratliff

Actor: Jason Isaacs, 60, is a very exciting new addition to The White Lotus season 3 cast. The English actor, best known for his iconic role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, has appeared in more than 150 films and television series over his decade-spanning career. He most recently portrayed legendary actor Cary Grant in 2023's Archie and should be one of the central, and potentially antagonistic, characters of The White Lotus season 3.

Character: Jason Isaacs is Timothy Ratliff, a successful businessman who is visiting the White Lotus with his wife and three kids. He isn't happy at the resort and only came to Thailand because his daughter wanted to interview a Buddhist monk for her college project in Religious Studies. However, on his first night at the White Lotus, he gets a phone call from the Wall Street Journal and quickly realizes the FBI is investigating one of his past deals, and there is a chance he could go to jail.

Michelle Monaghan As Jaclyn

Birthdate: March 23, 1976

Actor: Michelle Monaghan, 47, is a highly experienced American actress most famous for her roles in the Mission: Impossible franchise and in HBO's True Detective season 1. The actress was born in Winthrop, Iowa, and made her television debut on the 2000 series Young Americans. Monaghan got her big break by starring in the television series Boston Public in 2002. She also appeared in the slasher film MaXXXine by acclaimed horror director Ti West.

Character: Michelle Monaghan is Jaclyn, one of three friends who are visiting the White Lotus to catch up on life. They have been friends since grade school, but since that time, Jaclyn has become a successful television star and has taken to the life of a celebrity, although she wants to connect with her friends and get away from the bright lights for the week. However, she and her friends seem to be full of small ive-aggressive comments that show things have changed between them.

Natasha Rothwell As Belinda

Birthdate: October 18, 1980

Actor: Natasha Rothwell is currently the only recurring White Lotus character who is expected to appear in The White Lotus season 3. She was a writer and actor on the acclaimed HBO series Insecure before appearing in The White Lotus season 1 as Belinda, a role which earned her a nomination for an Emmy Award. Rothwell was also a writer on Saturday Night Live in 2014 before her career as an actor took off. She recently starred in the box office hit Wonka alongside Timothée Chalamet.

Character: Natasha Rothwell will reprise her White Lotus season 1 role as Belinda in The White Lotus season 3. She previously bonded with millionaire Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge) during her stay in Hawaii and now she is at this White Lotus to learn from them to bring their techniques back with her. She is one of two returning stars from the previous seasons, although the second only appears for a brief moment at the end of the first episode.

Carrie Coon As Laurie

Actor: Carrie Coon, 43, has nearly 20 years of professional acting experience and is best known for her leading role as Nora Durst in the acclaimed HBO series The Leftovers. She notably played Margo Dunne in David Fincher's 2014 hit movie Gone Girl alongside Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. Among Carrie Coon's best movies and TV shows is Avengers: Infinity War, in which she portrayed Proxima Midnight. She also appeared in Steven Spielberg's Academy Award-nominated 2017 movie The Post.

Character: Carrie Coon plays Laurie, one of three friends who goes to the White Lotus together. They have been friends since grade school and now they want to catch up while in their 40s. However, while Jaclyn is a famous actress and Kate is in high society as the wife of a wealthy man, Laurie seems to be struggling in life and clearly shows she feels she doesn't match up to her friends, something that slowly causes he to crack as the trip rolls on.

Walton Goggins As Rick Hatchett

Actor: Walton Goggins, 52, has quietly starred in some of the greatest films and television series ever made, including The Shield (2002 - 2008), Justified (2010 - 2015), Lincoln (2012), and Django Unchained (2012). He starred in the new Fallout Amazon series based on the popular video game which arrived in 2024. Goggins also has leading roles in the animated Amazon series Invincible and the HBO comedy series The Righteous Gemstones alongside Danny McBride and Adam Devine.

Character: Walton Goggins is a short-tempered and often cruel man who visits the White Lotus with his much younger girlfriend. He is short with her, and he often insults her, telling her to shut up when she is trying to be friendly. He comes to the resort for a specific reason and then realizes that what he is looking for isn't there, making him angrier, and soon, he starts to plan out something that might be the cause of the shooting that opens the first episode. He is also trashy and doesn't fit in with those around him.

Aimee Lou Wood As Chelsea

Actor: British actor Aimee Lou Wood, 29, has been added to the expanded cast of The White Lotus season 3. Other than having 2 million followers on Instagram, Wood is best known for her leading roles in the Netflix series Sex Education and the 2022 period drama Living, starring opposite Bill Nighy. As an English native, Wood was born in Stockport, Greater Manchester, and spent her childhood in Bramhall before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2017.

Character: Aimee Lou Wood is Chelsea, Rick's young girlfriend who wants nothing more than to help him find his joy again. However, every time she tries to be kind or nice to anyone, he shuts her down and often insults and demeans her in front of other people. In the first episode, she meets a woman who is dating Greg, the man who had Tanya killed last season, and realizes that the two women have a lot in common - making Rick seem even more dangerous in the end.
