Benedict Cumberbatch has commented on his Doctor Strange future, revealing that he thinks there is a lot more to come from the character and that he is excited to explore Strange discovering what the cost of attempting to control everything is. That last part made me think of how the Illuminati said that Doctor Strange was the biggest threat to the multiverse in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I think the hero could try to save the multiverse by himself in Avengers: Doomsday and end up destroying it, leaving everything free for Doctor Doom to take.
