One of the best series to ever grace the small screen, Netflix's You, has come to an end. After five seasons, Joe Goldberg's story has come to an end. With lots of twists and turns this season, it was unclear what his fate was going to be until the very end. It seemed as if Bronte was going to kill him, or that he would kill her, and he would yet again escape, but when I saw him being led away by the police, I had a big smile on my face. The fact that he was forced to be put on trial, and so publicly, really felt like this world finally got justice. The final line, of him basically blaming everyone else for the way he is, is so on brand for him. It really worked and, honestly, I like knowing that he will rot in jail rather than just be killed and not have to face the consequences of his actions.
