As the movie heads into theaters, reviews have been rolling out for <em>Ballerina</em>, and critics are generally enjoying the <em>John Wick </em>franchise spinoff, netting it a 75% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Honestly, I'm really surprised, as the fact the reviews were embargoed for this long, paired with the varying reports of its reshoots, made me worried it'd be closer to <em>The Continental</em>'s performance. But, I had always held out hope for it to be good, both for my love of the series and Ana de Armas, so I'm definitely more assured now.
