The latest report of the bidding war for the <em>Texas Chainsaw Massacre </em>reboot has revealed that five to eight parties are currently in the running to acquire the rights to the franchise for the film, but that Taylor Sheridan has now ed the running, and I'm kind of intrigued by his involvement. It's said he'd only be a producer, which I think is probably for the best, given he doesn't really have any experience in the horror genre, but given he was raised in Texas, I do think it would be good having someone who can ensure an authentic voice is brought to the helm.
