Materialists stars Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans, and Dakota Johnson. With a star-studded cast like that, I am not at all surprised that it has garnered insanely positive reactions from those who have seen it early. It is also written and directed by the talented Celine Song, which is why I knew from the start it was not going to be as fun and lighthearted as it might seem on paper. With all these incredible people behind it, I was never not going to see it, but now that there are so many positive reactions, I will be going as soon as possible.
