Daniel Radcliffe has emerged as the fan-favorite to play the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Wolverine. I fully expected him to play a variant in <em>Deadpool & Wolverine</em>, at least to serve as a nod to fans like Marvel Studios did with Henry Cavill's cameo in the film. In recent years, Radcliffe has shown that he can bring the physicality needed for the role. The actor's time leading the <em>Harry Potter</em> franchise also cements that he knows what it is like to take on an iconic role and make it a major success, which is needed for whoever replaces Hugh Jackman.
