The original <em>True Detective </em>creator revealed that he's working on a new story and that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are interested in reprising their roles. This certainly piques my interest, but I feel like <em>True Detective </em>season 1 has developed such a renowned reputation for being a singular work of television. To infringe upon that would be upsetting in away, given how well their story together ends.
