Wyatt Russell confirmed that Sebastian Stan's character is a congressman in the Thunderbolts* movie. What does this even mean for the movie? Why is this important?
My personal theory is that Ross tries to appeal to the Avengers by clearing Bucky's record and offering him a job in Congress. Bucky would take the job to establish a better name for himself, but would really not enjoy it. Is this likely? What do you guys think?

What's the best gangster movie of all-time?

The gangster movie genre remains one of the most enduring in cinema, with both the current and past landscapes featuring some of the best examples of all-time. Obviously, The Godfather and Goodfellas continue to be considered the best of the genre, but for me, I still think The Departed has to be my favorite. Though technically a remake, Martin Scorsese's direction combined with its gripping story and magnificent performances have made it a rare 2.5-hour-long movie I can rewatch time and again.

Is Dangerous Animals worth seeing in theaters?

If you are wondering if Dangerous Animals is worth seeing in theaters, all I really need to say it is a movie following a serial killer who feeds his victims to sharks. That should be enough to make you want to see it on the biggest screen possible. In all honesty, though, it truly is a great movie. It is a ton of fun, and Jai Courtney is having the time of his life. This one is a blast to go see with a bunch of friends in a packed theater. Don't miss the experience of the year.

What TGIF show would you like to see rebooted?

While Full House and Sabrina The Teenage Witch have already been rebooted to some capacity, I think Two Of A Kind would make a phenomenal TGIF show to bring back in the 2020s. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen obviously had great chemistry, but the show’s mix of heartfelt family moments and goofy humor holds nostalgic charm that could work well. A reboot could focus on a next-generation storyline, blending that original warmth with a modern twist. With the right cast and writing, Two Of A Kind could easily find new life today.

Which rewatchable and binge-worthy sitcoms should always be started from a different episode, other than the pilot?

I will happily binge my favorite sitcoms over and over again, but there are some that I'll skip the first episode of, and start rewatching from another point. For me, there are two core shows I always do this with. For It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, I always start rewatching from when Frank Reynolds s, and with Parks and Recreation, I do the same, but from when Ben and Chris arrive. I often skip the first few episodes of The Office, too, just as season 1 is so similar to the UK version, and I've seen it so many times.

Which movie do you love to recommend to people, even though the premise is completely bonkers?

Many of us know of a movie that we know is brilliant, or perhaps isn't and is worth recommending anyway, but we hesitate to do so because the film's premise is so bonkers that you worry you'll put them off. For me, it's a film called Womb, which stars Matt Smith before he was the Doctor. Smith's character dies, and his childhood friend/girlfriend grows and births his clone, raising him as her child. It's a strange concept, but an amazing movie.

What movie sequel ruined the ending of its predecessor?

While many movie sequels fail to live up to the promise of their preceding movies, there are some that even go so far as to ruin their predecessors' endings, whether by completely changing a cliffhanger, or changing paths from where the previous movie ended. For me, I feel like it's a tie between Alien 3 and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, as David Fincher's infamous threequel made the absolute wrong choice by killing off Newt and Hicks, while the latter action sequel killing off Roxy in its first 10 minutes, thus upending her promotion to Lancelot from the previous film, were really disappointing creative choices.

Five years later, which COVID movie perfectly encapsulates the pandemic?

During the pandemic and after, I found it too hard to watch movies about it. COVID was a tough time, but I've recently been checking out some of these titles. The Bubble was the only one I saw at the time, mainly because of Karen Gillan, and I thought that was fascinating. I just checked out Dumb Money, and I thought it was brilliant how they implemented songs that went viral on TikTok during the pandemic. It was eerie and gave me déjà vu, brilliantly.

The High Republic books and comics are almost over, who are your favorite characters?

It looks as though we're just one novel and few comic issues away from the end of the High Republic publishing era. A golden age for the Republic and Jedi Order, some of my favorite characters have been Keeve Trennis, Stellan Gios, Porter Engle, and especially Elzar Mann. I also really liked Master Sol and Qimir from The Acolyte series (set during the same era).

Which Fantastic Four popcorn bucket do you like most?

A few different popcorn buckets for Fantastic Four: First Steps have been revealed. The Galactus bucket is certainly impressive with the LED eyes (though it looks like it's going to be pretty pricey), and the Fantasticar is cool too. However, my favorite has got to be HERBIE which will apparently have compartments for popcorn, soda, and candy.

Which studio should make the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot?

Major studios like A24, Neon, Netflix, Paramount, and Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw are currently bidding on the rights to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, and the results could see a vastly different movie getting made. Jordan Peele is, in my opinion, the most interesting filmmaker of those who were listed, though I'm somewhat curious to see Taylor Sheridan's take, as it'd be a new genre for him.

Who should Mia Goth play in Shawn Levy's Star Wars movie?

Mia Goth has ed Ryan Gosling in the cast of Star Wars: Starfighter, and I'm excited to see what sort of character she'll play. My instinct is to have her play a villain, given that I'm used to her playing characters in horror movies, but I think that's an excellent opportunity to play against type and have her be a fellow starfighter pilot, working alongside Gosling's character.

Should Daemon Targaryen be the Three-Eyed Raven in House of the Dragon?

This is a fun theory, but I think it should stay just that. Beyond the Bloodraven stuff, which could be circumvented if the TV adaptation really wanted, it just doesn't feel like an interesting ending for Daemon, who's had one of the most internal stories in the show. The Three-Eyed Raven isn't part of this story, and it would feel contrived to add this into his ending.

Which anime should everyone watch, even if they are not a fan of the genre?

Not every genre or medium is for every person, but there are a lot of incredible stories told in anime form that I believe people should at least give a chance. While Attack on Titan and Dan Da Dan immediately come to mind, those series can certainly be more intense for those who are not anime fans. If I was to recommend a show that I believe even those who claim to not enjoy anime will like, it would have to be My Hero Academia. The world in and of itself is captivating and exciting, but the grounded, down-to-Earth stories that are told boil down to the classic good versus evil, which everyone can resonate with.

HBO Max's Station Eleven might just be one season, but it is a complete series that tells an intriguing and exciting post-apocalyptic story. To say that I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish is not an exaggeration.
