Figuring out the correct spots for repeating letters is extremely hard to do, as the game does not give any sort of hints about them. Therefore, knowing beforehand that the answer has a repeating letter can make a massive difference, even when using Wordle’s alternative mode.

Finding repeating letters is slightly easier when using Wordle’s hard mode, as you won’t be able to use confirmed letters in random spots. This will force you to use words that could increase the chances of finding the repeating letters and their correct spots.
