Ariel, also commonly known as the "Little Mermaid," is an NPC character that Dreamers can unlock during their adventure in understanding of where certain resources are located.

To get started on unlocking Ariel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must gain access to the remote island near Sull Rock, southeast of Dazzle Beach. Here, Dreamers will discover a shipwreck in the water with a small oar lying on the shore. Interacting with the oar will initiate the Friendship Quest, "The Mysterious Wreck." After the quest has begun, open the in-game to find where Goofy is located. Travel to his location and speak with him about the Wrecked Raft.

  • While foraging, search for piles of sticks that are a reddish russet.
  • Keep in mind that Hardwood shares the same item model as Softwood, with the main difference being their colors.

Rope ×7
  • Rope is a Refined Material crafted from Fiber, another Refined Material made from Seaweed.
  • Seaweed can be found along the shores of Dazzle Beach.
  • Players can also catch an unlimited amount of Seaweed by fishing in the ocean in spots where no bubble rings are present.
  • Players must also ensure their Inventory has enough space to carry their resources.

Clay ×25
  • Clay can be found in multiple locations, including the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands.
  • To get Clay, dig up the muddy nodes next to bodies of water.

Iron Ingot ×10
  • The Iron Ingot is a Refined Material crafted from Iron Ore.
  • Iron Ore can be found all throughout the Valley by mining rock nodes found near the borders of the regions.

After collecting all the materials, players can repair the Wrecked Raft and encounter Ariel. The next quest for this NPC is "The Lonely Island" in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
