In an episode of her podcast, ensure the longevity of Vanderpump Rules.

As Raquel explained, "The thought has crossed my mind, like did Tom mastermind this? He is known to self-produce, and all he has is this show, and the success of this show equals longevity in his career. He’s over 40 now, and this is his life, this is his main income." She questioned the motivations behind his actions during "Scandoval."

Although Raquel has gone through a lot of pain and faced a lot of criticism for her role in the affair, she wanted to make it clear that she is not a victim of "Scandoval." Raquel claimed that she is not a victim of their affair and the fallout, but she does consider herself a "victim of [the] manipulation, assault, and harassment" that she endured. Raquel took full ability for her actions and the experiences she went through as a result of being a part of the scandalous affair with Sandoval. Raquel also took ability for the effect that "Scandoval" has had on the people around them, including Sandoval's long-time partner Ariana Madix.

Raquel has faced criticism from viewers and her former Vanderpump Rules castmates for many of her actions surrounding the affair and for how she handled taking care of her responsibilities. One of these responsibilities that has garnered negativity from the Bravo universe includes her alleged abandonment of Graham, a dog she shared with James Kennedy, her former fiancé and friend of Sandoval. Raquel clarified that she did not give the dog to a shelter, further explaining that she gave the dog to a no-kill rescue for his specific breed. Raquel claimed the dog was having behavioral issues, including aggression toward other dogs, and Raquel said he even attacked her mom.

It was a tough decision, but ultimately a necessary one, for Raquel to give up ownership of their dog to a rescue. Raquel said it was important that Graham was not given back to James. Another point of criticism Raquel has been facing is the specifics of her relationship with Scheana Shay, a former friend and member of the Vanderpump Rules cast. Raquel said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, Scheana was living in San Diego and subletted her apartment in Los Angeles to Raquel at a discounted rate. Raquel explained that part of the agreement for living in the apartment was cat-sitting Scheana's cat since Scheana was not there.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 will air without Raquel, but there is no doubt that her presence will still be felt on the show as the cast attempts to pick up the pieces of their relationships. If she had returned, it would have been her best chance to explain her side of the scandal. Now viewers will only hear Sandoval's side of "Scandoval." Viewers should not worry, though, because the fractures and strains in the relationships among the rest of the remaining cast will bring more than enough drama and emotions to fill a season.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres Tuesday, January 30 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
