Thanks to the latest edition of Peteypedia, HBO's attempting to walk on water to see if her husband, Dr. Manhattan, transferred his powers to her.
Throughout the season, after every episode, HBO released documents regarding topics and characters from the episode in their Watchmen tie-in website, Batman existing as a black man parodying Nite Owl.
After the Watchmen season finale, canola oil implies that Agent Petey was Lube Man, who famously glided through a sewer drain after a confrontation with Sister Night in episode 4. Farragut continued to state that Petey had gone missing and was at risk for "vigilante behavior," meaning Lube Man could be out in the world.
Farragut also explained what happened to Agent Blake after his disappearance. In the finale, Blake was last seen with Looking Glass as 11/2/85. Farragut wrote that Blake had "resurfaced" and was debriefed as to what happened as well as the discoveries she made over the course of her investigation. Farragut ended by relaying a message from Blake, in which she wanted to thank "those who cared for her pet owl while she was away."
After the Watchmen finale, many fans are ready to have all of their questions answered in a new season. However, there are no plans for Watchmen could stand alone, like anthology series such as American Horror Story and Fargo, if and only if it involves a new idea. Until then, Watchmen fans will have to wait to see if Lube Man ever turns up again.
