The biggest takeaway of the Wednesday season 2 sneak peek is that actor Haley Joel Osment, known for 1999's The Sixth Sense, will be playing a serial killer in the coming episodes. The clip reveals that Wednesday had been obsessed with the unsolved case of the Kansas City Scalper, and, during her summer break from Nevermore, she used her now mastered psychic skills to finally track the murderer down. This involved Wednesday getting captured by Osment's frightening character, who locked her up in a basement full of eerie china dolls.

Once the Wednesday season 2 clip came to a close, Ortega and the rest of the cast announced that Lady Gaga would have a guest appearance in part 2, which will hit Netflix on September 3, 2025. The pop star will play a legendary Nevermore professor, Rosaline Rotwood, whose path will cross with Wednesday's in the episodes. This massive reveal was accompanied by a performance from Gaga, who sang some of the creepy hits from her recent album, Mayhem.

Our Take On Tudum's Wednesday Season 2 News

These Two New Guest Stars Are A Perfect Fit For Wednesday

The sneak peek of Wednesday season 2 was a great move on Netflix's part, especially considering how long we have been waiting for this next installment. We can be assured, based on this six-minute clip, that the episodes will maintain the same balance of kookiness and horror.

The sequence of Wednesday trying to get through airport security was hilarious, while her rendezvous with Osment's character was truly terrifying. Of course, both Osment and Lady Gaga should be a seamless fit for Wednesday season 2, given their experience in the genre. There's certainly a lot to look forward to.
