Margot Sisson from Below Deck Down Under had a memorable run on season 2, and it's time for an update on her. Margot was introduced to the show during episode 2 as she arrived late to the yacht. After Margot wasn't showing the interest Luke was looking for, as she also has a thing for deckhand Harry Van Vliet, so Luke decided to pursue Second Stew, Laura Bileskaline. The two hooked up during a crew night out, but Luke quickly realized he liked Margot more. During their next crew night out, Luke and Margot got a little too drunk, and Aesha was scared Luke might try to take advantage of Margot. Aesha put her to bed right away, but when an unexpected power outage happened, Luke ran to Margot's room naked and climbed into her bed. Luckily, producers were there to prevent anything from going any further.

Below Deck Down Under Season 2 Was Problematic
Franchise First
What makes Below Deck Down Under season 2 so problematic was some of the inappropriate cast . Luke tried to take advantage of Margot and was clearly eyeing her from the moment they met. He used the power outage to his advantage, likely thinking cameras were down at that moment. Luckily, Margot left the situation unscathed, while Luke was promptly fired by Captain Jason.
Margot went on to drink on the job in season 2, but she was forgiven by Aesha and Captain Jason, as they realized she was dealing with the Luke trauma.
The situation that happened with Luke was one of the most egregious occurrences in Below Deck history. Below Deck Down Under season 3 is on the horizon for February 2025, and while it promises a slew of boatmances, there's nothing to suggest that anything similar to what happened in season 2 happens. Margot will not be part of the season 3 cast, but she did make a strong impression in the franchise.
