A new day brings another new fans of the more difficult Wordle words today's should satisfy, it's not that it's a completely uncommon word, but it does use some uncommon letter connections. As always if players want an even more difficult challenge that requires a bit more critical thinking they can turn on Wordle's Hard Mode which is located in the options menu.
If Wordle is starting to get a little stale, there are a large number of copycats that exist all over the internet. Many of these games are nothing like Wordle but still follow the once-a-day nature and simple gameplay that Wordle has to offer. One of the more popular ones is Framed, this game gives players a single frame from a movie and has the guess the movie title. If incorrect, a new frame will appear. This continues until the player gets the right answer or runs through the six frames, another nod to Wordle. This game is the perfect complement to Wordle since it is so different but still has that quick, puzzle-solving nature about it.
Today's Wordle Hints (September 10th #448)
For those players that require a little assistance, we've provided a few hints to help solve today's Wordle puzzle.
- Hint 1: There are no repeated letters in today's puzzle.
- Hint 2: Today's Wordle word is used to describe something that is very tall and imposing or something very high above the ground.
- Hint 3: The first four letters of today's answer describe a room that is located directly below the roof of a house.
Today's Wordle Answer (September 10th #448)
The answer to today's Wordle is LOFTY.
For our starting Wordle word today we used MAGIC, not a single letter was correct, and we deserved this for changing up our starting word. The second guess, and follow-up word, that we tried was POUND, this helped cover most of the leftover vowels and actually gave us a correctly placed 'O'. With that we went on to our third guess LOTTO, this locked in an 'L' and a 'T' which helped us work out our fourth guess, LOFTS. This was very close to the final answer and with 'LOFT' complete there was only one possible choice. Finally, on our fifth guess, we scored a Wordle win-in-five with the correct answer LOFTY.
