February 15th has the perfect post-Valentine Wordle word ready to guess, but its effects may throw some people off their game. Wordle is a once-a-day word-guessing game that requires players to guess a randomized 5-letter word within six attempts. Recently purchased by the New York Times, Wordle gained popularity throughout 2022 based on its simple design, easy gameplay, and social media sharing ability.
Wordle is played on a 5x6 grid and players will begin by using a random starting word. The game will provide information based on what word is used by highlighting certain letters green if they are correct, yellow if they are correct but in the wrong spot, or grey if they are not in the word at all. With this information players need to guess another word, continuing until the correct word is guessed, or they run out of chances. Wordle also provides a 'Hard Mode' which can be turned on in the options menu. This mode locks letters into place based on the information given, so a letter that has already been used and proven incorrect cannot be used in any future guesses.
The reason Wordle has become so popular over the months can be traced back to its social media sharing ability. When a puzzle is completed players will have the opportunity to copy over their results and share them on any social media platform they wish. Wordle uses a collection of simple colored emoji boxes to show the player's journey through the game without actually spoiling any of the words guessed. This form of sharing has many people's timelines littered with colored boxes and only adds to more and more players looking up the game.
Wordle’s February 15th, 2022 (#241) Hints & Answer

Wordle 241 Answer (February 15)
If the clues just weren't enough to give it away, today's Wordle answer is AROMA. For this February 15th puzzle, we used ROAST as a starting word. This provided quite a bit of information with three letters being correct but in the wrong position. The next word used was BROAD, which locked in the location of the 'R' and the 'O' and only left two spots available for the misplaced 'A'. With a bit of a gamble and a little luck, we hit the correct answer in the third guess, AROMA.
Wordle continues to shine on social media as more and more players in the fun. With its recent acquisition by the New York Times, Wordle should be available every day for years to come.
