The word SHAWL originates from the person word 'shāl' and is used to describe a piece of fabric or knitted or crocheted material worn around the shoulders or wrapped around a baby. Shawls are commonly made of cashmere or wool and are often used to warm the body.
When trying to guess April 4th's Wordle answer, we first used our favorite starting word, 'ROAST.' This revealed one letter being used in the right spot while one letter was in the wrong place. The next word we used was' SLASH,' which showed two more letters being used in the wrong spot. We then used the word 'SHALL,' and it showed the correct position for four letters. From there, it was easy to guess today's Wordle answer SHAWL.
