EDITOR'S NOTE: This article is for Wordle answer #400; the July 25th Wordle answer is available now.
Today is the 400th 'ING' is one of the most common and can create a string of incorrect guesses leading quickly to a loss, this was our fate for today's game.
Some players prefer a harder challenge though and for those players, Wordle does offer a Hard Mode that can be turned on in the options menu. This mode simply forces players to utilize previously provided clues in future guesses. If a letter has been proven correct it must be used in the subsequent answers. On the flip side, if a letter has been proven incorrect, it is locked out from being chosen. This helps players use a little more critical thinking instead of wasting guesses on obviously incorrect answers.

Today's Wordle Answer (July 24th #400)
The July 24th Wordle answer is POWER.
For our 400th Wordle starting word we used IRATE which provided a normal start with two incorrectly placed letters 'R' and 'E'. Our second guess set up the future of this devastating loss, we used the word LONER. This solidified the dreaded 'ER' but gave us a promising additional vowel to work from. After this, however, was a long string of failed guesses that ultimately led to a loss on the 400th Wordle game. We tried CODER as our third guess, then SOBER as our fourth. Our fifth guess was JOKER providing us with another fail. At the end of the day, we knew it had to be MOWER or POWER, sadly we chose incorrectly and went with MOWER thinking it wouldn't be the more difficult word that they went with, but we were wrong and were dealt a loss. These things happen though and we will start our streak over tomorrow with a brand new day and Wordle #401.
