Another Wordle word has a common suffix like 'ING' or 'ED'. Luckily, today's word doesn't have any major tricks up its sleeve and after a few clues, most players should be able to quickly solve it. So most can easily count this as a win and move on to their next daily game, like Heardle or Quordle.
For those players who prefer a more difficult puzzle, Wordle does offer a Hard Mode that can be turned on in the options menu. This mode locks in previous clues and forces players to use a little more critical thinking when coming up with the next guesses. For example, when a letter is proven incorrect, it will be permanently locked from the rest of the game. On the flip side, if a letter is proven correct, or correct but in the wrong spot, it must be used in all subsequent answers. This removes the option of making combo words with popular letters just to check them all. This is also a great way to lower the number of attempts per game since there is zero chance of a wasted guess.
Today's Wordle Hints (July 29th #405)
For those players who just need a little push in the right direction, here are a few hints, followed by today's fully spoiled Wordle answer.

Today's Wordle Answer (July 29th #405)
The July 29th Wordle answer is UPSET.
For our starting Wordle word today we used IRATE which provided two incorrectly placed letters 'T' and 'E', and a few wrong letters. Moving forward with those clues, our second guess was TOLED. This offered only another incorrect placement for the 'T' and the correct place for 'E'. Our third guess was STEEP which brought a few more incorrectly placed letters into the game with 'S' and 'P' being in the wrong position, and another incorrect spot for the 'T'. Finally, after shuffling the known letters around way more often than we would like to it, we got the Wordle win in four with UPSET and kept our short new streak alive.
