For those players who crave more of the game and the one-a-day puzzles just aren't enough, Wordle will be making its physical debut soon with a brand-new board game by Hasbro. The game will use dry-erase boards and tiny colored squares. One player acts as a host and writes down a secret word for the others to guess on their own boards. As each guess is made, the host will use the small colored squares to provide each player with hints. This continues until someone gets the correct answer, scores the points, and then the host moves over to the next player.

Wordle August 16th 423 Hints

One of the best ways to score an easy win in Wordle is to have a repeatable daily pattern and a strong starting word. If players continue to use the same word, or a combo of words, on a daily basis they'll start to develop the best steps to take after the first clues are given. But sometimes even the best plans are useless, and some players just need a little help. For those players we've provided a few hints to help out, followed by the fully spoiled Wordle answer.

  • Hint 1: There are no repeated letters in today's word.
  • Hint 2: A young fictional boy named Oliver once famously asked for more of today's Wordle answer.
  • Hint 3: It's essentially a watered down form of oatmeal.

Wordle 445: September 7, 2022 Hints & Answer

The August 16th Wordle answer is GRUEL.

Gruel is a thin, cooked cereal made by boiling oatmeal in water or milk. For today's starting Wordle word we used IRATE, this provided a perfectly placed 'R' and an incorrectly placed 'E'. For our second guess, we wanted to really lock in where the 'E' could be, so we used the word GREEN to check two spaces. This provided even more than expected with the correct location of 'E' and a correctly placed 'G'. After that win there weren't too many more options available to fit the current game, so we scored a Wordle win-in-three with our final guess, GRUEL.
