EDITOR'S NOTE: This article is for Wordle answer #447; the September 10th Wordle answer is available now.
A new day brings the world a new best strategy for Wordle has always been repetition, keeping a consistent first guess, knowing where to go from there based on the hints, and being familiar with the common tricks that Wordle has like repeated letters, common suffixes, and things like that.
For those that prefer a harder game though Wordle does offer a Hard Mode that can be turned on before any daily puzzle. This mode simply locks certain things into the game. If a letter has been proven correct it must be used in all subsequent answers. The same applies to letters proven incorrect, they are basically locked out of being used in the future. Hard Mode certainly forces a more critical thinking attitude towards the Wordle gameplay by cutting out the opportunity to simply guess random words until a player has enough letters to solve it.

Today's Wordle Answer (September 9th #447)
The September 9th Wordle answer is THEME.
THEME is such a multi-faceted word and incredibly common in normal everyday speech. You could be explaining the carnival theme of a restaurant, the repeated theme of a book, or even your favorite television theme song. For today's starting Wordle word we used IRATE, this provided just a few hints with three incorrect letters, one misplaced 'T', and a correctly placed 'E'. Moving forward our second guess moved the 'T' to the front and assumed the classic 'TH' prefix. We guessed THOSE, this was incorrect but completely proved that 'TH' was right and easily led us to a Wordle win-in-three with THEME. Another day is done, and now it's time to solve today's Heardle.
