As of right now, there are three absolutes; death, taxes, and a new Wordle's difficulty traps. For those that prefer things a bit more difficult though, they can always turn on the Hard Mode located in the options menu. This stops players from using letters however they want and forces them into following the clues given in previous answers. If a letter was proven incorrect, it can no longer be used, and the same goes for letters proven correct, they must be used in all subsequent answers.
For those players that just need a little push in the right direction, we have provided a few hints before fully spoiling today's Wordle answer.
- Hint 1: There are no repeated letters in today's answer.
- Hint 2: Today's word could be found if it wasn't moving so quietly and stealth-like.
- Hint 3: _____ King was a 2006 video game released for the Xbox 360 by the fast food restaurant Burger King.
Today's Wordle Answer (October 28th #496)
The October 28th Wordle answer is SNEAK.
Not the most difficult of puzzles today with its common letters, but for our starting Wordle word we used IRATE. This provided a good start with both 'A' and 'E' in the incorrect placement. Easily moving forward we tried LEAKS for our second guess and this practically handed us the correct answer with 'EAKS' in all the wrong places.
At first, we thought it could be SNAKE but that wouldn't have worked due to the already proven incorrect locations of 'A' and 'E'. Without too much trouble we quickly solved the puzzle and got SNEAK in our third guess for a Wordle win-in-three and another successful number for our long-standing win streak.
