The Molly was introduced to TLC audiences when she was cast on 90 Day Fiancé season 5 with Luis Mendez. After meeting in Luis' native Dominican Republic, the two got married and immediately ran into problems. This was mostly because Luis was not interested in being a stepfather to Molly's two children. Six months later, in 2018, Molly filed for divorce, claiming that Luis was physically and emotionally abusive.
Despite Molly's volatile relationship with Luis quickly falling by the wayside, the now 46-year-old quickly became a fan-favorite. Between appearances on Molly revealed that she was losing weight in 2021, and began showing off her progress on Instagram. However, some people questioned why she was slimming down, while telling others to love themselves at any weight.
Unlike other 90 Day Fiancé stars who simply want to look better, Molly decided to lose weight to feel better physically. Since committing to eating a clean diet, the mother-of-two has been promoting several products, including Plexus. However, some fans have criticized her decision to promote the brand. Last December, 90DF alum doubled down on the health benefits of Plexus, captioning side-by-side update photos of her and Cynthia with, "When your body is balanced and your gut is working properly, awesome things happen."
Besides slimming down for the physical benefits, Molly also sought to improve her mental well-being. Since shedding over 30 pounds, Molly has shared that she feels less tired and more focused, writing in February that "It’s not ALL about weight loss." She was highlighting positives, such as, "It’s about waking up refreshed and without hitting snooze each morning," and, "It’s about mental health." Since Molly and Cynthia have continued to entertain 90 Day Fiancé fans by following along with the season 9 couples, the duo deciding to get more in shape has helped them to feel better from day to day. It's also helped them to deal with the inevitable long filming days.
Molly's career has grown tremendously since she ed the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, which makes her transformation even more commendable. Long before Molly and Cynthia were on television back in 2006, the duo launched the all-inclusive company, LiviRae Lingerie, which gets great reviews online. Although her marriage to Luis didn't work out, Molly has doing just fine. In fact, she's thriving as a single woman. With her popularity continuing to rise as time goes on, fans are interested in seeing Molly's progress/ She's continuing to better her life, and many people think that she's an inspiration.
