Recently, WWE made some roster cuts which were likely to make room for new incoming superstars and to extend the current contracts of some of their other wrestlers. Following those releases, WWE also trademarked 12 new potential ring names.

When WWE trademarks new names, that indicates there are some roster additions coming. Whether that is to their developmental brand, WWE NXT, or the main roster. Many of the names will belong to WWE NIL recruits. Some of the names that were trademarked have already been revealed on social media, but some still leave room for speculation

Here's the list of newly trademarked names:

  • Osiris Griffin
  • Haze Jameson
  • Trill London
  • Harley Riggins
  • Summer Sorrell
  • Jax Presley
  • Masyn Holiday
  • Drako Knox
  • Tate Wilder
  • Braxton Cole
  • Chantel Monroe
  • Aria Bennett

Some Of The New WWE Trademark Names Have Been Revealed

Some Superstars Have Revealed Their New Identity

Since the trademarked names have been brought to the surface, some of the superstars have already revealed their new identities in WWE. One of the first to do so was Joshua Black, who will now be known as Osiris Griffin in WWE. He also confirmed that this name was inspired by his Egyptian heritage. It is fairly known that WWE recruits have some say about what their ring name will be once they make their debut.

Based on recent WWE recruitment announcements, all signs indicate that Chantel Monroe is Derrian Gobourne. After doing some social media digging, it does appear she revealed herself on her Instagram as well. At first, fans speculated that newly acquired Ricky Starks from AEW would take on a new name in WWE and associated his name with Tate Wilder. But further digging reveals that former Arizona State football player, Case Hatch has claimed the name on his Instagram bio.

Another recruit that has announced their in-ring name is former Miami Dolphins cornerback Trill Williams. As he embarks on a career in WWE, his in-ring name will now be Trill London. Another former football player, Camden Gagnon, who played at The University of Villanova, announced on his Instagram that in WWE his name will be Braxton Cole. WWE has shown that they love g former football players, as former tight end at McNeese State University, Kyle Klink changed his entire Instagram to match the name Jax Presley as he enters his career as a WWE recruit as well.

The Rest of The Trademarked Names Leave Room For Speculation

In The Coming Weeks, More Identities Will be Revealed

Ricky Starks celebrates a victory during an episode of AEW Dynamite in September 2022.

The so-far unrevealed trademarked names include Masyn Holiday, Haze Johnson, and Summer Sorrell. Rumors on X suggest that Darci Khan will be known as Masyn Holiday, Hayley Montoya will be known as Haze Jaemson, and Karyn Best will be known as Summer Sorrell. None of those have been 100 percent confirmed.

This leaves the only names that have yet to be revealed or have any connection; Harley Riggins, Drako Knox, Tate Wilder, and Aria Bennett. My initial opinion is that Aria Bennett is fitness superstar Ajiea' Lee. Her profile on her Instagram says she is now a WWE NXT superstar and the names are obviously similar. The smart money is on Drako Knox potentially being used for Ricky Starks. Which leaves "Harley Riggins" as the only unclaimed trademarked name.

For this name to not be associated with anyone makes it more intriguing. As someone who is expected to be on WWE Evolve, Performance Center recruit Chase Kline has yet to officially announce his name. The former Eastern Michigan linebacker has been spending time at WWE's Performance Center for a while now, and I believe this name could be for him.
