The X-Men 2099 team is about to reveal new , as the mutant squad gets brand new designs ahead of their appearance in Marvel's future timeline. Marvel Comics revealed the new X-Men team that will appear in Spider-Man 2099: Exodus #5, which features both familiar faces and some new characters taking on the mantle of some of the most popular heroes from the superteam.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2099: Exodus miniseries has introduced and reimagined heroes and villains in the futuristic universe. So far, a new 2099 version of the Winter Soldier, a new Avengers team, and Loki have debuted in the comic. A new Black Widow of Marvel's future will also appear in a future issue in July. However, Spider-Man 2099: Exodus' grand finale will up the ante and see the debut of a new take on the X-Men 2099, as a mix of new and old characters (with new designs) will fight for survival against forces looking to eliminate them for good.
Marvel Comics revealed the X-Men 2099 in a brand new preview for Spider-Man 2099: Exodus #5 by Steve Orlando Kim Jacinto, Jay David Ramos, and VC's Clayton Cowles. The X-Men will fight to make the Celestial Garden their new home and team up with Spider-Man to take on Cabal Sentinels. In addition, Marvel released a slew of covers for the miniseries' finale by artists Ryan Stegman, JP Mayer, Arif Prianto, Ken Lashley, Juan Fernandez, Ron Lim, and Israel Silva.
The X-Men 2099 will see returning characters Cerebra, Krystalin, and Bloodhawk, while introducing new versions of Cyclops, Northstar, Phoenix, and Kid Cable. Artist Kim Jacinto's designs feature the new costumes for the mutant heroes, including Cyclops.

The rest of the designs feature new looks at the X-Men 2099. Phoenix, the new mutant brawler Tulkas, Kid Cable, Krystalin, and Cerebra's looks, weapons, and powers get showcased in the new Marvel art.
