Zenless Zone Zero's Miyabi is looking to be the new dominant force in the game, making it crucial to know how to build and use her. ZZZ's 1.4 update has finally been released, and along with its new units comes an exciting story. The 1.4 story seems to culminate in the first part of this creative game. Along with the story, 1.4 brings loads of quality-of-life updates to make the game smoother and easier for new players.
Miyabi's dual-element kit may seem daunting initially, but it is simple. The core part of her kit revolves around her Fallen Frost stacks, which can be consumed up to six, to unleash her Shimotsuki basic attack with incredibly high damage. She gets two stacks using her Ex-Special Attack or when any team member triggers a Disorder effect, and one for applying Frostburn to an enemy. Frostburn is the other crucial part of her kit, as it puts enemies in a state where Anomaly Buildup is increased.

Best W-Engine For Miyabi
A Unfortunate Lack Of Options
Miyabi's best W-Engine by a large margin is her signature Hailstorm Shrine. At base, it gives 24% critical chance and 50% critical damage. These stats are huge for Miyabi, as she is not only a hybrid Anomaly main DPS, but her Anomaly Buildup will be increased by 100% of her critical rate, up to a max of 80%. Another bonus of this engine is the extra 20% Ice damage buff, stacking up to two times; it will give when using an Ex-Special or triggering an Anomaly.
Though Miyabi's Frost element is unique, it is treated like Ice in of buffs and debuffs.
The next best option, though a considerable dropoff, is Grace's Fusion Compiler. This option gives a 12% Attack increase with a stacking Anomaly Proficiency buff of 25. The Anomaly Proficiency isn't as crucial as Miyabi will have enough in her base kit and Discs, but it never hurts to have more. This choice is mainly a stat stick to give her a healthy amount of Attack and 24% bonus Penetration.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 - Release Date, Characters, New Areas, & What Changes To Expect
The release date, characters, new areas, and what changes to expect in Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 are all detailed for anyone to check out if they want.
The 4-Star options are limited but can work for budget Miyabi builds. The ideal choices here are either Electro-Lip Gloss or Rainforest Gourmet. The former is only available through the battle but gives higher Attack and damage buffs than other 4-Stars. Meanwhile, Rainforest Gourmet can be bought from Box Galaxy, and even though it has a high Attack increase at max stacks, it is hard to keep these stacks consistent.
Best Drive Discs For Miyabi
A Set Made Just For Her
The best Drive Disc set for Miyabi is the new Branch & Blade Song. At two pieces, this set gives 16% critical damage, and at four, it provides an extra 30% if the 's Anomaly Mastery is 115 or higher, along with a 12% critical rate boost for 15 seconds upon shattering an enemy. This set works well for Miyabi as its requirements play into exactly what she wants to do while providing all the stats she needs to excel.
For those who don't want to farm a new set, the second option is the always-useful Woodpecker Electro. This classic DPS set awards an 8% critical rate boost and a 9% Attack buff when landing a critical hit. Given how necessary it is to build a Miyabi with a high critical rate, this set helps make that easier than the others and rewards her with an easy-to-keep-up Attack buff. It won't reach the same damage numbers as Branch & Blade Song, but it is still a healthy alternative.
The main stats for Discs 4, 5, and 6 should be Critical Rate, Ice Damage, and Attack% respectively. This allows her to cap out the Anomaly Buildup bonus from her ive and deal the most damage she can. Substat priority should be critical rate (till 80%), critical damage, and then Attack%. After that, the best options are more Anomaly Proficiency or Penetration, but any random stat can suffice.

Best Teams For Miyabi
A Hybrid DPS Powerhouse
Miyabi is currently in a weird place where she has one excellent team and a handful of good but not great options. Her best option is paired with fellow Section 6 member Yanagi and her best builds. Caesar is best for a unit, but a regular Stunner can work too. This option works so well since Miyabi does not need as much field time to do her damage, giving Yanagi the time she needs. Meanwhile, Yanagi triggers regular disorder, and her special polarity disorder, which can give Miyabi all the Fallen Frost stacks she needs.

Zenless Zone Zero: Best Caesar Build (W-Engine, Teams & Drive Discs)
Here is the best Caeser build you can make in Zenless Zone Zero with the ideal W-Engine, Drive Discs, and the perfect team of fellow Agents to use.
A lesser version of this team that can work is replacing Yanagi with Bernice. However, this thrusts Miyabi into an on-field role, as Burnice is best used as an off-field unit. A Lucy or Soukaku unit better utilizes this team combo to give attack buffs and eat up some field time when the other two aren't being used.
Miyabi can also work outside of Disorder teams, but not as well. In this regard, she is essentially a harder-hitting version of Ellen Joe's best build. She will also use the same teams as her, paired with Lycaon or Lighter for stuns and Soukaku for the massive attack and Ice damage boosts. This team takes away a bit of Miyabi's identity but can work just fine for those who haven't invested in Anomaly teams.
Overall, Miyabi is looking to be one of the premier DPS units going forward in ZZZ. Her flexibility is amazing, and when utilized in her best teams, she gets to a higher level than any other character. It will be interesting to see if the future provides a powerful unit that plays around Anomaly characters, as this would take Miyabi up even further in Zenless Zone Zero.
