It seems too obvious now. The Darksaber is destroyed. Bo-Katan has clarified more than once that the Mandalorians won't follow her without it. Unless, of course, she fulfills the prophecy and comes riding in on a Mythosaur. She knows where it lives. They have established precedent for the Force facilitating communication with various beasts. Ahsoka with the Purrgils, Grogu with Boba Fett's rampaging Rancor. There is no way the last frame of the finale where Grogu peeked down at the water was anything else besides him sensing the Mythosaur down below.

Grogu will do some Jedi mind-melding. Bo-Katan will ride out like a legend. Good guys win, right? Except that's too obvious, and Grand iral Thrawn is involved. I'm not sure precisely how its gonna play out, but Thrawn is always 2 steps ahead. I don't expect that to change.
