See AllA Nightmare on Elm Street had some bad sequels, but I think there's a perfect duology in there.
With a few exceptions, the various sequels in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise were poorly received. One such exception was Dream Warriors, which I thought was a unique fun time for the series, and even though The Dream Master was a little more mixed in its reception, it still brought the story full-circle from the previous movie. Do you think Dream Warriors and Dream Master is a perfect duology like the first two Terminator movies?
How many Phantasm movies are actually good?
Don Coscarelli's Phantasm remains a horror classic for good reason, as it has a really original story and creepy atmosphere. Though it got four sequels, all of which were still written by Coscarelli, while only the first three of four were directed, I don't really feel like any of them matched the quality of the original.
Do you want a full-on Alien reboot ?
To allow young actors to explode into stardom in Hollywood, you need great roles, and what better way than to remake and reboot classic movies. Imagine a reboot of 1979's Alien with a bigger budget, starring Millie Bobby Brown as Ripley, Paul Mescal as Dallas, Florence Pugh as Lambert, Barry Keoghan as Ash, Harris Dickinson as Kane, Tom Holland as Brett and Daniel Kaluuya as Parker. I'd like to call this reboot Alien: Reborn.
Would you watch an E.T. reboot?
To allow young actors to explode into stardom in Hollywood, they need big roles, and what better than roles in titles familiar to the public? Imagine a reboot of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, but instead of children, have young adults who discover the alien. My take for a reboot of the cult classic title has Timothée Chalamet as Elliot, Jenna Ortega as Gertie and Austin Butler as Michael, and I call it E.T. Reborn. What do you think?
Will we ever see a reboot of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise?
It's been 15 years since the last Nightmare on Elm Street movie and there is still no news of a potential new installment in the franchise, despite it being one of the most popular horror series ever. There have been reports of Wes Craven's estate taking pitches for new movies and a Max series, with Mike Flanagan also expressing his hopes to take on the franchise, so why haven't we heard anything yet?
Are you in favor of an MCU reboot to allow young actors to get roles?
I think the Marvel Cinematic Universe actors are too old, as Elizabeth Olsen is already almost 40, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Ryan Reynolds and Anthony Mackie are approaching 50, Paul Rudd is over 50, Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman are in their 60s, while Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Harrison Ford are close to 90. We need youth in the MCU to allow young actors to emerge and get long-term roles, such as young A-list actors Jenna Ortega, Timothée Chalamet, Sydney Sweeney, Austin Butler, Millie Bobby Brown and Paul Mescal.
