I agree totally that Elementary was a great modern adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes story to the modern world. I liked Watson being a woman - a sober companion who overcomes her problems to help solve crimes. The tension between the two characters made watching a delight!

The relationship between Peter and Elizabeth breaks away from the cliched theme of the non-law-enforcement partner being shut out by the cop/detective being so devoted to the work that their relationship suffers.

Yes to a spin-off with Sister Andrea! I am impressed with this quirky show. I paid monthly at Paramount Plus to watch this show, and I have now unsubscribed because my favorite show is over. I hope Netflix picks up the rest of the episodes of this show and sponsors any spin-offs or other work the dynamic duo write! (spoiler alert) Having Leland listen to Roger Miller’s “Dang Me” as he was trying to sneak up on Kristen was hilarious! It was the perfect serious comedy musical analogy for this show.
